Melissa Little tragically lost her young sons Koda (4) and Hunter (9 months) in early 2016. In the wake of her loss, she watched Koda’s young friends struggle to process what had happened. ‘Their bewilderment motivated me to write a book,’ says Melissa. ‘I hoped to give them an opportunity to think about their grief, and talk about it if they wanted. It is not intended to answer all the questions that may arise but simply to promote discussion – and maybe help a little.’
